It was an interesting last day at the 3rd ITFP-GH International Conference 2026. Our last three (3) keynote speakers made significant contributions by advancing knowledge across critical pillars of the textile and fashion ecosystem:

Her lattice‑structured material, engineered for flexibility, ventilation, and skin‑friendliness, shows how 3D printing can redefine comfort, performance, and cultural integration in textile design. Her contribution bridges heritage craftsmanship with future‑ready technology, offering a compelling pathway to responsible, high‑precision textile innovation.
Dr. Marzie Hatef Jalil’s presentation highlighted the transformative role of 3D fashion design and virtual prototyping in sustainable fashion systems. By reducing material waste, shortening development cycles, and enabling culturally grounded design exploration, her work positions digital tools as essential drivers of both environmental and cultural sustainability. Prof. Sakthivel Santhanam’s research on sustainable bio‑composites from waste silk cocoons addresses one of the industry’s most urgent challenges: textile waste. His fibre-to-fibre circularity approach transforms discarded silk cocoons into high-value functional materials, showing how waste can be engineered into durable, scalable, and environmentally responsible textile solutions. His work exemplifies circular‑economy innovation, merging fibre science with practical industrial applications.
